We've been dealing with our own epidemic this summer. What an ORDEAL! Apple Inc, has had it before from daycare and what not, but 4 kids heads....well it certain takes the whole thing up a notch!
I have never in my life done so much laundry! The entire house has smelt like a pesticide factory, and the kids...well..
What a bonding experience for them. To all be quarantined together. Teen Drama Queens blaming the Lil's, and Lil's crying, and scratching. Nothing endears brand new step siblings to one another like a round of pediculosis.
And for a new step parent/parent....there is not much more I could do that says that I really do love 'em than pick buggies outta their hair all night long.

If this ever happens again... I'm gonna try the mayonaise, the vinegar AND the listerine tricks I googled! Now, that would probably take the situation up to, Too Far.
